Metya Financial Services Company offers Tax, bookkeeping, payroll and consulting services is looking to add an Office Assistant to the team. This is a part-time position until tax season. Flexible Hours are usually Monday-Friday around 25 hours a week. The firm is looking for a motivated person with positive "can do" attitude.
This is a 90-day temporary trial position with the opportunity to become a permanent role based on performance, reliability, quality of work, and overall fit with the company.
DUTIES:
Responsibilities to include
- Manage calendar, appointments, and reminders
- Handle calls, emails, texts, and follow-ups
- Run errands and coordinate personal/business tasks
- Track open items and make sure nothing falls through the cracks
- Help organize documents, files, receipts, and records
- Communicate with clients on behalf of the owner
- Prepare reports, lists, schedules, and task updates
- Assist with CRM, pipeline, and admin follow-up when needed
- Keep owner/manager organized and on schedule
- Anticipate needs before being asked
Office Assistant Requirements:
- High school diploma or associate degree.
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Sense of urgency is required
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once
- Experience as an office assistant or in a related field (preferred).
- Strong communication skills by phone, email, and text
- Warm personality with strong communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Must be resourceful and willing to figure things out
- Ability to work well under limited supervision.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
