Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
- Support inventory management processes by overseeing stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and implementing inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies.
- Coordinate transportation planning and fleet management activities, ensuring adherence to transportation safety regulations and optimizing road transportation operations.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, AS400, and CMMS to track shipments, manage data analysis, and improve operational workflows.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff by providing training on forklift operation, category management, dispatching, picking & packing, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing materials and managing vendor relationships including 3PL providers and freight carriers.
- Drive process improvement initiatives using supply chain analytics to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate customer service standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics operations within a logistics company or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory management, demand planning, freight forwarding, and international trade regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to operate transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office tools effectively.
- Familiarity with shipping logistics including NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), dispatching, order picking, packing procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing teams in a fast-paced setting with a focus on safety regulations such as transportation safety standards.
- Technical proficiency with forklift operation certifications preferred; experience with CMMS or AS400 is advantageous.
- Excellent data analysis skills to interpret supply chain metrics and identify opportunities for process enhancements.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
