Job Summary
Growing Tree Child Development Center is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Full-Time Early Childhood Educator to join our passionate team. This position is ideal for someone who values early learning and is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for young children. The successful candidate will support children’s development through play-based learning, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Promote children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and organized classroom environment
- Observe and document children’s progress and communicate with families
- Collaborate with co-teachers and center leadership
- Ensure compliance with Wisconsin DCF 251 regulations and center policies
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development
Qualifications
- At least 2 ECE college courses completed and enrolled for more. (Required)
- Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in a licensed child care or early learning setting preferred
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to meet licensing requirements including background check and health screening
- Passionate about providing quality care and education to young children
