Level 1/2 IT Helpdesk Associate
At Go MCA Relief, we approach financial solutions differently to meet our clients' needs. We are passionate about what we do and the clients we serve. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Level 1/2 IT Helpdesk Associate to join our team.
As an Level 1/2 IT Helpdesk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our Sales team with their hardware and software issues. Troubleshooting headsets, computer issues, and other duties as needed.
General Responsibilities & Job Duties:
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical support via phone, email, or chat.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues (PC, Mac, mobile devices).
- Assist users with common issues related to applications, operating systems, and network connectivity.
- Assist with setting up and configuring new hardware or software.
- Provide basic training to users on software applications and system use.
- Assist with user account management and permissions across systems.
- Provide detailed documentation of incidents and resolutions for future reference.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve overall system functionality and user experience.
- Assist with IT projects such as hardware upgrades, software deployments, and network improvements.
Qualifications:
- Communication: Effectively communicate in writing and verbally at all organizational levels.
- Self-Motivation: Self-starter with the ability to manage projects independently with minimal supervision.
- Customer Orientation: Demonstrate a positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills.
- Organization: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient and understanding of Computer systems, mobile devices, and eagerness to learn and grow in the field of IT.
- Proven experience in a technical support or help desk role (Level 1 and/or Level 2)
Preferred:
- Education: Degree in information technology, Computer Science, or relevant field is a plus (But not required)
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft Certified Professional, etc.) are a plus.
Note: This is a full-time position with working hours Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Pay: $20.00 per hour
