The Sourcing Manager plays a key role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives across major spend categories. This role requires a candidate who is very strong in strategic sourcing, with proven experience developing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating complex contracts.
Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including requirements definition, market analysis, supplier evaluation, and selection

Develop and maintain category strategies that balance cost savings, supply assurance, risk management, quality, and service

Negotiate complex contracts and commercial agreements to protect company interests while fostering strong supplier partnerships

Manage supplier performance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
-
Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and other stakeholders to drive procurement best practices

Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to inform sourcing decisions and long-term planning
-
Support departmental KPIs, performance metrics, and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or CPSM/CIPS preferred)

8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management

Demonstrated success achieving cost savings and mitigating supply risk

Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Experience with technical spend categories, preferably electrical apparatus or components

Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Coupa, Oracle)

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-influencing abilities
