Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Restoration Specialist to join our team and help clients recover from water, fire,storm, and other property damages. In this role, you will be at the forefront of emergency and rebuild efforts, providing expert restoration services with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency calls involving water, fire, mold, or storm damage to assess the situation and develop effective restoration plans.
- Perform cleaning, water damage restoration, flood restoration, and fire restoration tasks using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, equipment, and personnel to job sites while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, Xactimate (a software for estimating restoration costs), and other industry-standard equipment to execute restoration projects efficiently.
- Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection during hazardous tasks to ensure safety for yourself and others.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including progress reports, safety logs, and client interactions to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with clients professionally to communicate project scope, timelines, and expectations while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all phases of restoration work to prevent accidents or health hazards.
- Assist with cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or debris removal as needed during the restoration process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the restoration industry or construction background with knowledge of water damage, fire damage,, or storm recovery is highly preferred.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations with emergency response readiness skills.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection measures.
- Familiarity with Xactimate software for estimating project costs is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed.
- Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, and company vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients during stressful situations.
- Willingness to participate in on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies as required by the role.
- Construction experience is key.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining high standards of quality work.

Pay: $17.00 - $28.00 per hour
