This onsite Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is tailored for passionate professionals ready to support a diverse caseload in an engaging school environment located near Wilmington, DE. Starting August 19, 2026, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to enhance communication skills, provide vital therapy services, and help shape student success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current Delaware SLP license required (attach to your application)
- SLP-CCC credential strongly preferred; open to SLP-CF candidates
- Previous experience in a school setting is ideal
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for speech and language therapy
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite; not available for teletherapy (VOCO) or SLPAs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a school-based caseload at Forwood Elementary
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievements
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Attend IEP meetings and participate in team-based planning and problem-solving
- Commitment to a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, 8:30am–4:00pm, with a 30-minute paid lunch
