Position Overview
The Center for Cosmetic & Laser Surgery is seeking an experienced, polished, and highly motivated Medical Aesthetician to join our premier cosmetic surgery and medical aesthetics practice.
This part-time position is ideal for a skilled professional who can step into an advanced clinical environment, contribute immediately, and deliver an exceptional patient experience. The successful candidate will have strong clinical judgment, advanced skincare knowledge, and experience with laser and light-based technologies.
You will work alongside cosmetic surgeons, nurse injectors, and experienced aesthetic professionals to develop customized treatment plans that support long-term skin health and natural-looking results. Our practice is built on clinical excellence, patient education, integrity, and individualized care.
Schedule

- Three days per week to start
- Weekday hours
- Opportunity for additional hours as the practice and patient schedule grow
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive skin analyses and in-depth patient consultations.
- Develop customized treatment and home-care plans based on patient goals, clinical indications, and long-term skin health.
- Safely operate laser, light, and energy-based technologies in accordance with established protocols.
- Educate patients regarding treatment expectations, pre- and post-care, maintenance plans, and skincare regimens.
- Recommend medical-grade skincare products through thoughtful, ethical patient education.
- Collaborate with cosmetic surgeons, nurse injectors, and other team members to create comprehensive, multimodality treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and exceptional sanitation, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Build lasting patient relationships through attentive follow-up and consistently excellent care.
- Stay current on aesthetic technologies, treatment innovations, and industry best practices.
- Perform advanced aesthetic treatments, including:
- BBL®
- MOXI®
- Halo®
- Hydrafacial®
- Microneedling
- Dermaplaning
- Body-contouring treatments
- Additional medical aesthetic procedures
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois aesthetician license.
- Minimum of three years of experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting.
- Hands-on experience with advanced skincare treatments and energy-based laser or light technologies.
- Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, pigmentation, wound healing, aging, and overall skin science.
- Ability to independently perform consultations, skin analyses, treatment planning, patient education, and follow-up care.
- Confidence recommending medical-grade skincare and supporting retail performance through patient-centered education.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Polished, professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Self-directed, dependable, goal-oriented, and committed to exceptional patient outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BBL®, MOXI®, and Halo® technologies.
- Experience working in a cosmetic surgery or physician-led medical aesthetics practice.
- Experience with Nextech EMR or a comparable medical software platform.
- Established local patient following or demonstrated success building and retaining an aesthetic patient base.
