Artisanal Brew Works is looking for a Bartender to join our team. We are a small family owned and operated brewery and brew pub in Saratoga Springs, NY.
We are looking for a team member to join our team as a Bartender. The ideal candidate will be able to learn and perform a variety of tasks in order to provide an excellent customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages
- Knowledge of / or willingness to learn about various beers styles and products specific to the brewery. Love of craft beer is a plus.
- Resolve guest complaints.
- Maintain stock and levels.
- Comply with food safety, sanitation and health codes and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Complete daily inventory counts as required.
- Complete daily maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Perform opening and closing duties, as well as all other duties assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication skills, able to interact with staff, customers and management in a professional manner at all times of the day or shift
- Ability to work with little supervision, perform repetitive tasks efficiently, be organized, have attention to detail and follow instructions in written and verbal forms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with or without supervision.
Compensation: Hourly rate plus tips - our taproom is busy and tips reflect the volume
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
