Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Warrenton, VA hiring Special Education Teachers for multiple full-time contract opportunities for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking dedicated educators who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs in elementary, middle, and high school settings.

Job Details
- Contract Dates: July 27, 2026 to May 28, 2027
- Schedule: Approximately 37.5 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $41 to $44 an hour
Positions are available in a variety of special education settings, including:
- Resource/Inclusion Programs
- Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
- High-Functioning Autism Programs
- Elementary School Programs
- Middle School Programs
- High School Programs
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction aligned with state curriculum standards and student IEP goals
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction in resource, inclusion, autism, or early childhood settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track student progress and maintain accurate educational documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and administrators
- Foster an inclusive, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavior management strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Qualifications
Required
- Active Virginia Special Education Teaching License
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Ability to support students with diverse academic, behavioral, and developmental needs
Preferred
- Previous experience in special education settings
- Experience with inclusion, resource, autism, or early childhood special education programs
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
