Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting the right new or pre-owned vehicle for their needs
- Build strong relationships with customers through professional and consistent communication
- Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries, and previous customers
- Demonstrate vehicle features and conduct test drives
- Learn and explain updated vehicle technology, safety features, and connectivity systems
- Use the dealership’s CRM and phone systems to manage leads, appointments, follow-up, and customer communication
- Work with management and the finance department to provide a smooth purchasing experience
- Maintain knowledge of available inventory, vehicle features, incentives, and dealership promotions
- Meet and exceed individual and dealership sales goals
- Represent Gillie Hyde Auto Group with professionalism and integrity
What We Are Looking For

- A willingness to learn and follow a proven sales process
- The ability to stay organized and consistently follow up with customers
- Technological literacy and the ability to quickly learn and use a CRM, dealership phone system, and updated vehicle technology
- Confidence using computers, smartphones, email, texting, and other digital communication tools
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Previous automotive or sales experience is helpful but not required

Application Question(s):
- Are you able to work from 8am to 5pm on scheduled weekdays, and 9am to 4pm on Saturdays? (We offer one weekday off, and every Sunday off.)
- This is a commission-based job with a draw/base-pay of $1,600 a month before taxes that is paid out regardless of sales. Commission pay is: Commission earned - $1,600 = Monthly commission check. We have one of the best commission percentages within a few hundred miles of us, unit bonuses, and more. Are you okay with working on commission?
