Duties:
1. Venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
2. Injectable and inhalant anesthesia, monitoring surgeries and surgical prep.
3. Preparation and eval of blood, fecal samples, and urine.
4. Proper radiograph technique - dental radiology experience a bonus.
5. Be able to anticipate the needs of the Veterinarian.
6. Perform treatments of hospitalized patients without supervision.
7. Have strong communication, time management and multi-tasking skills.
8. MUST have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
9. Willing to work closely with our clients to always deliver an exceptional visit.
Qualifications:
- Certification or Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology - Preferred but not required
- Proficiency in animal husbandry and kennel management
- Experienced in animal restraint and handling
- Ability to provide exceptional pet care and client education
- High school diploma
