Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented HR Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will execute the full cycle recruiting strategies, sourcing top talent across multiple disciplines, managing candidate relationships, and ensuring a seamless hiring experience. Your proactive approach will help us attract high-quality candidates and support our organizational growth. This role is ideal for an HR professional who is passionate about talent acquisition and eager to build a long-term career in Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities for hourly, salaried, technical, manufacturing, engineering, and administrative positions.
- Post and maintain job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms.
- Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, employee referrals, staffing agencies, technical schools, colleges, and networking.
- Review resumes and conduct initial phone screenings.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications.
- Prepare offer letters and coordinate pre-employment activities.
- Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment screenings.
- Maintain applicant records in the Applicant Tracking System (Paylocity preferred).
- Track recruiting metrics including applicant flow, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness.
- Support recruiting events, career fairs, and employer branding initiatives.
Human Resources Operations
- Coordinate New Hire Orientation and onboarding activities.
- Prepare onboarding materials and employment documentation.
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.
- Process HRIS updates and employment status changes.
- Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records.
- Support employee engagement initiatives.
- Prepare employment verification letters.
- Assist with performance review administration.
- Provide general HR administrative support and assist with special projects.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and applicant information.
Workforce Development
- Assist with building relationships with colleges, universities, and technical schools.
- Support internship, apprenticeship, and workforce development initiatives.
- Participate in career fairs and recruiting events.
- Support military recruiting initiatives.
- Coordinate relationships with staffing partners.
- Help build talent pipelines for recurring manufacturing positions.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of recruiting, HR, staffing, customer service, or related administrative experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred
- Manufacturing, engineering, or technical recruiting experience.
- Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (Paylocity or ADP is preferred).
- LinkedIn Recruiter experience.
- Knowledge of employment laws related to recruiting and hiring.
- SHRM membership or interest in HR certification.
- Desire to build a long-term career in Human Resources.
