DRIVER/DELIVERY
Deliver and stock inventory to different customers throughout the Colorado Front Range as well as providing information and product knowledge to clients as needed while working in a timely and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Execution and reinforcement of company and customer service policies.
- Attend any and all meetings for Lincoln Distributing.
- Demonstrate superior customer service skills while meeting the Mighty Service standards.
- The driver will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, properly loading and unloading trucks, properly securing inventory in vehicle and providing exceptional customer service to our customer base.
- If applicable receive inventory into customer’s point of sale system after verifying product and invoices are accurate. Receive all required signatures required during delivery of product.
- Maintain maintenance, cleanliness and security of company vehicle. Any type of maintenance needed or damage to company vehicle needs to be reported to management ASAP.
- Submit Invoices, Inventory Returns, Cash or Checks to office personnel at the end of every shift.
- Report any errors found during receiving process to appropriate office personnel when encountered.
- Operate company vehicles in professional and safe manner observing speed limits and obeying all traffic laws/ signs.
- Follow all safety procedures for Mighty of the Rockies and our customer’s businesses.
- Ability to work as a team and speak effectively with customers and fellow associates.
Job Requirements
- Valid drivers’ license with clean driving record.
- Lift at least 50 pounds or more including moving product with use of a pallet jack.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to speak, read and write in English.
- Ability to use and understand computer programs used in the field.
- While performing the duties of this job, it is regularly required to stand, walk, use of hands, stretch or reach with hands or arms. Work in awkward positions, transfer oneself from one work level to the next. Move inventory from one height to another. It may also regularly require to sit, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, bend and or crawl.
