About the Role
We’re a 98-room extended-stay property in Palm Harbor with an on-site restaurant. We provide clean, stable, flexible-term housing — for people between homes, traveling workers, and longer-term residents. We run a tight, professional operation and we’re growing.
This is a hybrid role for someone who likes to stay busy and wears more than one hat. During the week you’ll clean and turn rooms; on weekends you’ll run the front desk — the first point of contact for guests and residents, setting the tone with a warm welcome. A typical week is about three days of housekeeping plus both weekend days at the desk. It’s a great fit for someone dependable who takes pride in a spotless room and is also comfortable being the face of the property — checking guests in, signing leases, and handling resident accounts.
What You’ll Do — Housekeeping (≈3 days/week)
- Clean and turn rooms between guests: bathrooms, kitchenettes, floors, furniture, and surfaces
- Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies and amenities
- Prepare vacant rooms to a move-in-ready standard and flag maintenance issues
- Keep hallways, laundry, and common areas clean and presentable
- Track room status and coordinate with the front desk and maintenance so rooms turn quickly
What You’ll Do — Front Desk (weekends)
- Greet and check in guests and residents warmly, answer phones with professional etiquette, and handle day-to-day front desk operations
- Show available rooms to prospective residents, explain lease terms and amenities, take applications, and process new leases and renewals
- Manage move-ins and move-outs and keep room availability accurately tracked
- Monitor resident accounts, follow up on past-due balances, and prepare and serve notices (e.g., three-day notices) per our established playbook and Florida law
- Address resident concerns promptly and professionally, fostering positive relationships
- Keep records, logs, and our property management system accurate and compliant with Fair Housing requirements
- Enforce property policies consistently, professionally, and fairly
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Physically able to perform housekeeping work — standing, bending, lifting, and being on your feet for full shifts
- Strong customer service and people skills, with a calm, professional demeanor — including in difficult conversations
- Clear communication and professional phone etiquette
- Able to take ownership and work independently without constant supervision
- Comfortable with computers, basic spreadsheets, and learning property management software
- Available to work a full-time schedule that includes both weekend days
- Must pass a background check
A Plus (Not Required)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Prior experience in housekeeping, hotel/hospitality, property management, real estate administration, leasing, or collections
- Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite
- Familiarity with Florida landlord-tenant or transient lodging rules and Fair Housing laws
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time — approximately three weekday housekeeping shifts plus front desk coverage on Saturday and Sunday
- Single hourly rate of $18–$20 based on experience, for both housekeeping and front desk hours
- Opportunity to earn additional performance bonuses tied to leasing and account results
