Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Director of Community Outreach to lead our organization’s efforts in building meaningful relationships within the community. Duties
- Develop comprehensive community outreach programs that align with organizational goals, focusing on health, social services, and community development.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of outreach coordinators, volunteers, and partner organizations to ensure effective program delivery.
- Cultivate strong relationships with community leaders, local agencies, schools, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to expand outreach efforts.
- Plan and execute public speaking engagements, workshops, and informational sessions to raise awareness about available services and resources.
- Manage social media platforms and marketing campaigns to promote events, initiatives, and organizational achievements.
- Collect and analyze data related to outreach activities to measure impact, identify areas for improvement, and report findings to senior leadership.
- Oversee fundraising efforts by coordinating grant applications, donor engagement, and special events to support program sustainability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams within community or social service settings.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently.
- Demonstrated success in program development, project management, and strategic planning.
- Knowledge of social media management tools and marketing strategies for community engagement.
- Experience in data collection methods related to program evaluation and reporting.
- Background in public health, social work, addiction counseling or related fields is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to recruit, train, motivate, and retain staff and volunteers.
- Administrative experience including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
