Summary
The ideal candidate will manage the Banquet Storeroom in the distribution and control of operating supplies and equipment directly associated with and that are required by the Banquet Captains, Banquet Servers, and all related departments.
Essential Functions
Job duties include, although are not limited to:
Purchasing and receiving all the necessary equipment ordered for daily banquet operation, as well as controlling the inventory.
Controlling and distribution of the Banquet equipment, linen, etc. in and out of the banquet storage areas.
Ensure the safe keeping of all items, operating supplies, and equipment directly associated to the operation held in the designated storage areas.
Keep designated storage areas organized, clean and tidy at all times.
Dispose of waste materials and packaging cleanly and efficiently.
Make and distribute food labels for all functions in a timely and efficient manner.
Issue all equipment in accordance with department policies.

Has regular contact with all the resort departments

Must be able to read and write in English.
Some hospitality and/or storeroom/warehouse experience preferred.
Physical RequirementsLifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.
