Production Operator
Comstock Metals LLC is pioneering the recycling of end-of-life electrification products, including solar panels, to prevent landfill waste while recovering valuable metals for reuse. You will serve as the Production Operator, an entry level position, responsible for supporting daily production operations through the safe operation of equipment, material handling, inspection activities, and general production tasks. In this role, you will work under direct supervision and receive training on production processes, equipment operation, quality standards and safety procedures.

As an ideal candidate, we expect you to have:
- High school diploma or GED required, with 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, recycling, mining, or other production-related environments.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work safely in a team-oriented environment, and maintain a strong commitment to quality and productivity.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills, processes, and equipment through on-the-job training.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify equipment issues, perform routine operational tasks, and support production activities.
- Experience operating industrial equipment, forklift certification (or the ability to obtain certification), and prior experience in manufacturing, mining, or recycling operations are preferred.
Your specific responsibilities as a Production Operator will include:
- Perform production and processing activities safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established operating procedures, quality standards, and production schedules.
- Operate and monitor production equipment, conduct routine inspections, and promptly report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or process issues to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with material handling activities, including moving, sorting, staging, and processing materials to support efficient workflow and production operations.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, participate in training programs, and collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve operational goals.
