Program Directors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to develop, maintain and deliver education services to students through:

Creating and Maintaining core curriculum across the institution

Communicating and monitoring delivery of core curriculum

Preparing course plans and material
-
Delivering courses
-
Monitoring progress/attendance
-
Advising students
-
Recording grades and submitting reports
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

Minimum of a master's degree
-
A minimum of five years (or equivalent), full-time, post-licensure experience that includes a minimum of three years (or equivalent) of full-time clinical experience within any United States jurisdiction

didactic and/or clinical teaching experience.

experience in administration, management, and leadership. Experiences derived from the clinic are acceptable.

Professional development or education in all of the following: educational theory and methodology, instructional design, student evaluation, and outcome assessment. This includes a minimum of 60 contact hours of professional development or education comprising exclusively and comprehensively the four content areas of: education theory and methodology, instructional design, student evaluation and outcome assessment.

Familiarity with CAPTE Standards and accreditation processes preferred.

Current, unrestricted State of Florida Physical Therapy Practitioner (PT or PTA) License
