About the Role
Villa Italia Wines is seeking an experienced Wine Sales & Brokerage Specialist to expand our presence throughout Northern California.
This is an ideal opportunity for an established wine broker, independent sales representative, distributor salesperson, or beverage industry professional who already maintains relationships with restaurant buyers, wine directors, retailers, hospitality groups, country clubs, specialty food stores, or independent wine shops.
We are looking for someone who can immediately leverage existing industry relationships while building new business opportunities for our portfolio of premium Italian wines.
What You Will Do
- Represent and sell Villa Italia Wines' portfolio of premium Italian wines.
- Develop new accounts and grow existing business throughout your territory.
- Present wines to restaurant owners, sommeliers, wine directors, beverage managers, retailers, and specialty accounts.
- Coordinate wine tastings, staff trainings, and promotional events.
- Build long-term relationships with key buyers and decision-makers.
- Work closely with Villa Italia Wines on inventory, fulfillment, and sales strategy.
- Identify new market opportunities within restaurants, wine bars, hotels, private clubs, and retail channels.
Who We Are Looking For
- Existing relationships with restaurant, retail, hospitality, or wine industry buyers.
- Prior wine, spirits, beverage, or specialty food sales experience preferred.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working independently.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Italian wines is highly desirable.
- WSET certification, sommelier training, or industry credentials are a plus but not required.
- Existing broker representatives and independent sales professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.
