Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales using POS systems, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, including fine dining or hospitality settings preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly
- Experience with wine knowledge, cocktail mixing, spirits handling, and open table reservations is a plus
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales processing
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain sanitation training prior to employment
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and team collaboration
