Responsibilities
- Conduct oil changes and automotive fluid replacements efficiently and accurately using hand tools and power tools
- Perform tire services such as rotations, replacements, and balancing to ensure optimal vehicle safety and performance
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks including filter replacements, windshield wiper installations, and battery checks
- Support alignment procedures and minor mechanical repairs to maintain vehicle safety standards
- Use automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues and communicate findings clearly to service technicians or supervisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions professionally
Requirements
- Dealership or automotive service experience is highly preferred
- Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of standard passenger car operation and automotive diagnostics
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, fluid replacement procedures, and basic repairs
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required in vehicle maintenance
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills for customer interactions
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with alignment services, automotive repair, sales support, or heavy lifting tasks.
