Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take beverage and food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Process sales transactions efficiently while upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and beverage service procedures
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating and manage guest flow effectively
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or upscale venues
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest relations
- Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy shifts
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing payments swiftly
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience with culinary or kitchen tasks is a plus but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential
