Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Auto Parts Salesperson / Cashier to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting automotive parts and accessories tailored to their vehicle needs
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash, credit, and electronic payments with professionalism
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive parts, vehicle systems, and repair procedures to advise customers effectively
- Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, conducting inventory control, and updating stock records using inventory management software such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills, product knowledge, and personalized service to encourage repeat business
- Assist with order fulfillment, ensuring timely processing of customer requests and special orders
- Support maintenance of store cleanliness and organization to create a welcoming shopping environment
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales within an automotive parts store or dealership is highly preferred
- Proven skills in negotiation, customer relationship building, and sales management are essential for success in this role
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities is required for serving diverse customer bases effectively
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and POS systems is beneficial for administrative tasks
- Experience with inventory management, stock control, automotive parts management, and retail math will contribute to operational efficiency
- Strong communication skills, mechanical troubleshooting abilities, and a passion for automotive service are highly valued
