Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with enthusiasm to create memorable dining experiences
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions smoothly and efficiently
- Manage cash register operations, including processing cash, credit card, and digital payments with accuracy and attention to detail
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quality standards and food safety protocols are maintained at all times
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food handling, and cleanliness standards throughout your shift
- Upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue
- Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring timely food delivery to guests
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food service customer order management skills
- Proficiency in operating POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with retail math and basic math skills for cash handling
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse guests
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tables and transactions efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with light food preparation when necessary
- Experience in retail sales transactions, upselling techniques, and processing cash transactions accurately
