The H4H Foundation is seeking a Marketing & Operations Intern for a paid position with a clear path to an ongoing Coordinator role. This is hands-on nonprofit experience with real responsibility from day one — not administrative busywork. The intern will report directly to the Finance & Development Manager and play an active role in how the foundation communicates with its community and manages its day-to-day operations.
This is an excellent first professional role for someone who is creative, organized, and looking to take ownership of meaningful work early in their career.
Responsibilities
- Create social media content, flyers, and email campaigns (via Constant Contact) that drive genuine community engagement
- Support the reorganization of the foundation's records and files — two years of materials need a clear system, and there is real openness to new ideas on how best to structure it
- Coordinate the calendar for classes and events, working directly with instructors and locations to keep scheduling on track
- Apply AI tools to improve day-to-day workflows — candidates who can connect and integrate tools, not just use them conversationally, are especially encouraged to apply
- Support donor tracking and outreach, attendance tracking, and general administrative coordination
Qualifications
- Strong marketing or content instincts — this is the most important skill for the role
- Comfortable working with AI tools including and beyond basic conversational use (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
- Highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- No specific professional experience required
- Must complete and pass a Live Scan background check prior to starting
