Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics, precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Conduct repairs involving welding, and the use of industrial mechanic skills to restore equipment functionality.
- Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts and other industrial lifting devices safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities, work orders, and asset history for accurate record-keeping.
- Assist with installation and setup of new machinery or upgrades following technical specifications and schematics.
- Collaborate with team members on analysis skills to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
- Support safety protocols related to high voltage, low voltage electrical systems, and industrial electrician practices during maintenance tasks.
- Engage in technical sales support by providing insights on equipment needs or repairs when interacting with internal teams or external vendors.
Skills
- Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, and hydraulic components.
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices involving high voltage and low voltage electrical systems using tools like ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as scissor lifts safely in accordance with safety standards.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills in English for effective teamwork and field service interactions.
- Background in military or industrial mechanic experience is a plus, demonstrating discipline and technical versatility.
