LX Building Materials is a growing kitchen, bath, and building materials company with a young and motivated team. We are hiring one Indoor Sales Representative for our South El Monte showroom.

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $19–$21 per hour, plus commission
Estimated Total Income: Approximately $5,000–$12,000 per month, depending on sales performance. This estimate includes base pay and commission and is not guaranteed. Most team members are expected to fall within the middle of this range based on experience, effort, and performance.
Position Overview
The Indoor Sales Representative will assist showroom customers, understand their remodeling or construction needs, recommend suitable kitchen and bath products, prepare quotes and sales orders, follow up with customers, and help complete and close sales.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in the showroom
- Understand customers’ project needs, measurements, style preferences, and budgets
- Recommend suitable cabinets, countertops, vanities, flooring, sinks, and related building materials
- Explain product features, pricing, availability, and lead times
- Prepare accurate quotes, invoices, and sales orders
- Follow up with leads and existing customers by phone, text, or email
- Coordinate with design, warehouse, delivery, and installation teams as needed
- Maintain product knowledge and keep showroom displays organized
- Build long-term relationships with homeowners, contractors, designers, and other customers
- Meet individual and team sales goals
Requirements
- Previous indoor sales, showroom sales, or building materials sales experience is required
- Strong communication, customer service, and follow-up skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Comfortable discussing pricing, preparing quotes, negotiating, and closing sales
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple customers and orders
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company sales and design systems
- Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team
- Kitchen, bath, cabinet, countertop, remodeling, or construction industry experience is preferred
