Looking for a trustworthy, motivated team player to assist with product movement, shipping and receiving, and general warehouse operations.
DAYS/HOURS:
Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM – Close
Close time varies; typically between 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM. Flexibility and willingness to stay late are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipping
- Pick orders and consistently check posted sales order areas: UPS, Pick Up (Will Call), Truck Delivery, and Sprinter delivery bins/boards
- Retrieve all available line items
- Alert Warehouse Manager of any inventory discrepancies
- Place all orders in their proper staging areas
- Load trucks, vans, and customer vehicles
- Organize daily truck/Sprinter deliveries by corresponding delivery dates
- Help customers load orders into their vehicles
- Strategically load the truck in order of delivery stops
- Load any outgoing LTL truck deliveries
Receiving
- Assist with offloading trucks (forklift experience a plus)
- Offload packages from FedEx/UPS
- Check in all delivered material
- Carefully inspect TVs and other packages for damage
- Document and report any refusals of damaged products
- Report any short shipments or discrepancies in quantities or SKUs to the Warehouse Manager
- Sign and date the corresponding vendor packing slips
- Submit all packing slips to the Warehouse Manager for entry into the system
Stocking Shelves
- Meticulously stock received items in their correct bin locations — accuracy and organization are essential
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked shelving system at all times
- Maintain fully stocked shelves in the showroom
- Inform the Warehouse Manager of any depleted items for reordering
Returns
- Ensure customers complete an RMA Request Form with all pertinent information
- Place the RMA Request Form in the designated bin for processing
- Return unopened items to stock
- Bring all damaged or defective items to the return-to-vendor area
Daily Tasks
- Empty all garbage and recycling bins in the AM and PM
- Break down cardboard and dispose of it in the correct dumpster
- Wrap pallets and other material for transfer
- Keep all warehouse aisles clear at all times
- Proactively identify tasks and ways to improve workflow or organization without being prompted
- Use downtime productively — always looking for what can be done to support the team and improve the workplace
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills with a commitment to following established procedures consistently and precisely
- Ability to adapt and take on evolving responsibilities as business needs change
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset — takes initiative without needing to be directed
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages up to 50 lbs
- Full-time availability required; must be flexible with end-of-day hours and willing to stay late when needed
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Forklift certification or prior experience preferred but not required
