Overview
$5000 hiring bonus. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of trucks, tanks, and refrigerated trailers. Our work schedule is 12 days on and 2 days off, sometimes this changes due to holidays but this will be the normal pattern. Paid weekly. Pre-employment drug test is required along with your name being in a drug pool. You will also be home every night.
Duties
- Operate and drive various types of trucks, tanks, and refrigerated trailer.
- Drop and hook safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of all materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatcher regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck.
Experience
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid Commercial drivers license with CDL class A and tanks.
- Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers is preferred.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
