Job Summary
The on-site Senior Engineer shall possess at a minimum a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and have at least seven (7) years in operation and maintenance of a wastewater pre-treatment plant. Required responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manages the Wastewater and Water Wipe facilities including a staff of operators, supervisors, mechanics, and technicians.
- Periodic visits to check water wipe conveyance to Intaglio presses and/or quality issues. Additionally, check on nature of waste water wipe upsets coming from Intaglio press pits.
- Coordinates the maintenance, emergency repairs, and operations of the Plant. Oversees modifications to the design, engineering, and operations of the chemical and/or mechanical processes.
- Leads projects including Plant upgrades, equipment replacement, and equipment overhauls.
- Manages and analyzes design and engineering specifications, project submittals, pricing requisitions, purchase orders, customer and vendor invoices, and contract modifications and addendums.
- Manages subcontractor construction/installation crews in mechanical systems replacement and modifications.
- Evaluates Plant operations and maintenance, provides recommendations for Plant redesign and/or improvements, writes technical specifications, policy, and standard operating procedures.
- Solves problems and responds to issues within the Plant.
The Senior Engineer shall be available at least during the Day shift hours between 07:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed for administrative reasons
Pay: From $105,000.00 per year
