Cafeteria Operator Substitute
Department:
Child Nutrition
Reports to:
Cafeteria Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with cold and hot food preparation including cooking, steaming, and baking
- Assist with food service to students, staff, faculty, parents, and guests
- Cleaning, mopping sanitation, and trash removal of the kitchen and dining room
- All other duties as assigned by your cafeteria manager or assistant manager
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a criminal background check
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for 4 continuous hours
Preferred Skills
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Experience in school food service
- Job may require the lifting of up to 40 pounds and working in temperatures as low as zero degrees.
