Duties
- Perform routine pool cleaning tasks including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and water balancing to maintain optimal water quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to ensure proper operation.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment using hand tools and power tools, troubleshooting issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, water chemistry levels, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules.
- Identify potential problems early by monitoring pool systems and perform preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to protect yourself and clients’ property.
- Communicate clearly with clients about service procedures, recommendations for ongoing care, and any necessary repairs or upgrades.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various pool equipment components.
- Experience with pool maintenance tasks such as water testing, chemical balancing, and cleaning techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for repairs and installations.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning equipment including vacuums, brushes, skimmers, and automated systems.
- Service technician experience is preferred to ensure high-quality customer interactions and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
