Ubreakifix of Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Electronics Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, troubleshooting, and repairing various electronic devices, including computers, mobile phones (Android and Apple), and other electronics. This position also requires money handling and strong customer service skills, along with basic soldering proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with inquiries and managing repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of electronics, including but not limited to:
- Desktop and laptop computers
- Android and Apple smartphones/tablets
- Other consumer electronics with circuit boards
- Perform basic soldering tasks on circuit boards and electronic components.
- Handle transactions, including cash, card, and digital payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient repair environment.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and repair techniques for fast-paced adaptation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the store.
- Provide timely and detailed repair reports, documenting the process and resolution.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in electronics repair (computer and mobile device repair is a plus).
- Basic soldering skills are required.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose problems efficiently.
- Knowledge of both Android and iOS systems is highly preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle money and perform cashier duties accurately.
- Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated on new technologies and repair techniques.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in electronics repair or related fields are a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
