American Traveler is hiring a Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience at a large Level I Trauma Center academic medical center, providing bi-campus coverage across two locations.

Position is based in the Interventional Radiology unit of a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center academic medical center with 1,500+ staffed beds
-
Bi-campus coverage required across two hospital campuses
-
4x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
-
No weekend or holiday shifts required
-
Call shifts are available to pick up on a voluntary basis

Charts using Epic
-
Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
-
ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
-
Trauma center experience at a large facility required
-
License required if applicable — pending license accepted, but must be active prior to start date

First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility

Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted

COVID vaccine and booster required; religious or medical exemptions are accepted

OR scrubs in Misty Green are provided by the facility

Parking is available at a cost of $125

Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler

RTO of 7 days or fewer may be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval
