Outside Sales Representative – B2B Printing, Equipment, & Signage

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Business-to-Business Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage accounts for our printing and signage business in the Mobile, AL market and surrounding areas. This role focuses on developing relationships with commercial clients and selling a full range of printing solutions, signage, large and small format printers, and related supplies.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys face-to-face selling, building long-term client relationships, and working with high-quality visual communication products.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and manage B2B accounts within an assigned territory
- Sell printing services, signage solutions, large and small format printers, and printing supplies
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services
- Conduct in-person sales calls, product presentations, and demonstrations
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and follow up to close sales
- Build long-term relationships with business owners, marketing managers, and decision-makers
- Collaborate with internal production and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B outside sales (printing, signage, equipment, or related industries preferred)
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfort with relationship-based and consultative selling
- Basic computer skills (CRM, email, proposals)
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass drug and alcohol screening
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Printing, signage, or wide-format equipment sales
- Knowledge of commercial printing processes and materials
- Existing relationships with local businesses, contractors, or marketing professionals
