We are a Bay Area property management company specializing in management of multi-family apartment properties with some mixed-use commercial spaces.
What We Are Looking For
An on-site Resident Manager to reside in and manage an 80-unit building in Downtown San Francisco.
Summary of the Position
Under the direction of the Supervising Portfolio Manager, the Resident Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the building.
Responsibilities Include
- Coordinating vendor and maintenance technicians to prepare vacant apartments for rent
- Advertising and leasing vacant apartments for rent
- Collecting rents each month and preparing monthly reports, cash sheets and deposit slips
- Performing light maintenance duties and supervising maintenance
- Communicate with tenants on all relevant building matters including but not limited to maintenance, access, rent increases, leasing, delinquencies, noise & conduct, etc.
- Be available on-call for tenants as the primary landlord contact
Activities
- Respond to all tenant communications within one business day
- Respond to emergency issues such as plumbing leaks, flooding, building security, etc. immediately
- Daily monitoring of common areas, including, laundry rooms, boiler rooms, and minor maintenance
- Investigating and resolving tenant complaints
- Coordinate property improvements to increase return on investment
- Ensure all work orders and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion
- Enforce property rules and regulations
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service background is preferred
- Apartment management experience will be considered
- Professional verbal and written communication skills via email, phone, and digital communications
- Each candidate will have a background check, including credit, eviction history.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
