Job Overview
Bridges Community Support Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our behavioral health team. This position focuses on providing psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management services for individuals receiving outpatient behavioral health care.
The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with therapists, case managers, and other members of the clinical team to support coordinated care and positive treatment outcomes for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for new clients.
- Provide medication management services including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting psychiatric medications.
- Conduct follow-up appointments to monitor treatment progress and medication effectiveness.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
- Educate clients regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and other members of the treatment team to coordinate care.
- Ensure services are delivered in compliance with state, federal, and Medicaid guidelines.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active Florida APRN license.
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification preferred.
- 1–2 years of psychiatric or behavioral health experience preferred.
- Active DEA registration or ability to obtain DEA licensure.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills.
Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
