Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiver to join our team. The Receiver will be responsible for checking incoming goods, verifying product descriptions, expiration dates, and pack sizes to ensure accuracy and that all items match the order. The ideal candidate must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming deliveries to verify the quality and quantity of goods.
- Check and confirm product descriptions, expiration dates, and pack sizes to ensure they match the original order.
- Assist in organizing and storing goods in their designated locations.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety guidelines at all times.
- Lift and move boxes or items up to 40 pounds as needed.
- Stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 5am until 1:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
