Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling techniques
- Assist with beverage service, including cocktail preparation and spirits knowledge for a fine dining or nightclub setting
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, bar stations, and service equipment in accordance with food safety standards
- Support food handling and food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring proper food safety procedures are followed
- Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations and handle any concerns professionally
- Buss tables and assist with host/hostess duties to ensure smooth seating flow and guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
Requirements
- Previous food service experience in restaurants, cafes, or nightlife venues preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items like wine or specialty drinks confidently
- Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, cocktails, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in math calculations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain required sanitation training prior to starting
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks such as bussing tables or serving beverages
- Hospitality mindset with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
