We are currently seeking a Senior Aerospace Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Manchester, CT. The primary responsibility of this role is to inspect and record dimensions of aerospace components, ensuring product and certification conformance to blueprint and customer specifications.
This position offers flexibility in shifts, with the option for 1st or 2nd shift. Those on the 2nd shift will receive a 15% shift differential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct full inspections and first piece inspections.
- Inspect and record dimensions according to process sheets, inspection reports, blueprints, and other relevant documentation.
- Review process certifications.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, gages, and other equipment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and customer complaints.
- Work both independently and as part of a team, exercising good judgement.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in a related engineering or technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace quality control inspection.
- Experience with aerospace OEM customers like GE Aviation and Raytheon Technologies.
- Familiarity with FAI, PPAP reports, ECAV reports, and submissions.
- Knowledge of major customer supplier portals and critical component processes.
- Strong IT skills related to inspection equipment and quality systems.
- Understanding of export compliance requirements including DFAR and ITAR.
Additional Skills:
- Experience working with microscopes or loupes.
- Knowledge of IPC 610/J-STD.
- Preference for experience with IPC 620.
