Experienced RN/LPN needed to serve as the Director of Resident Care.

Ideal candidate will lead resident care and daily clinical operations at our Assisted Living Community. This position provides hands-on leadership to ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care while overseeing staffing, clinical services, regulatory compliance, and team development.
Duties (included but not limited to):
- Oversee daily resident care operations and ensure residents’ needs are consistently met.
- Develop, update, and monitor resident care plans; coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, medications, and changes in health status and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and clinical support teams regarding resident care.
- Lead staffing, scheduling, recruitment, orientation, and ongoing staff development.
- Support survey readiness and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and resident care.
- Monitor supplies and resources while supporting departmental budgetary goals.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives designed to improve resident outcomes and quality of life.
- Serve as a key member of the campus leadership team and keep the Executive Director informed of resident care and staffing needs.
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered Mississippi RN/LPN License
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care with geriatric experience preferred.
- Management or supervisory experience required.
- Strong knowledge of resident care, healthcare regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lead and develop a team while maintaining a compassionate, resident-centered approach.
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain/maintain certification as required.
