Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and valid School Psychologist certification or license.
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Previous experience working in K-12 school settings preferred.
- Familiarity with developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and conducting psychoeducational assessments.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral interventions and support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and students.
- Proficiency in report writing and documentation.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to determine students’ academic, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized interventions and support plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents in the development and review of IEPs.
- Deliver individual and group counseling to address students’ needs and challenges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support student growth and achievement.
- Provide crisis intervention services and help cultivate a positive learning atmosphere across the school community.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, reports, and documentation in compliance with all applicable guidelines.
