Key Responsibilities ∙
- Deliver exceptional customer service to parents and children.
- Assist in styling outfits and making personalized recommendations.
- ∙Maintain organized and visually appealing sales floor and displays.
- ∙Process transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Support stockroom and restocking needs as required.
- Promote ParkerJoe’s brand values in every customer interaction.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure that all sizes and styles are represented.
- Follow visual merchandising guidelines for displays, signage, and floor presentation.
- Assist with processing shipments and organizing stockroom merchandise.
- Ensure the store and backroom are clean, organized, and safe always.
- Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service at the register while promoting special offers or loyalty programs.
- Demonstrate urgency and prioritize customer engagement above all other tasks.
- Inform leadership of any maintenance, safety, or loss prevention issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Must pass a background check and be eligible to work in a child-friendly retail environment.
- Strong awareness of child safety and comfort in family-oriented settings.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful, and joyful experience for children and parents alike.
- Understanding of the sensitivity required when engaging with children and families.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Friendly, approachable, and kid-savvy personality. ∙Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented ∙High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and move throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
- Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills. ∙Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic retail setting with shifting priorities.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings.
