- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances in compliance with food safety standards
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of stock levels
- Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure safety and quality during all stages of meal prep
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and smooth workflow during busy periods
Requirements
- Prior experience in dietary departments, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production
- Demonstrated ability to handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Experience with menu planning or culinary tasks such as recipe adherence and meal preparation is a plus
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen team members
