Security Officer Evening Roving Driver
As a Security Officer Roving Driver in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access and site operations. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through proper site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, as conditions vary across the location.

Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and vendors, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted and operational areas.

Support daily operations by documenting incidents, communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and reporting maintenance, hazard, or policy concerns observed during patrols.
Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

Have alarm panel experience preferred.

Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
