Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Machine Operator to join our crew for projects throughout Broward County and surrounding South Florida areas. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise operating skid steers and excavators on active job sites, with a proven ability to perform precise land grading work to grade and elevation specifications. Key Duties
- Operate skid steers and excavators on commercial and residential job sites
- Perform land grading to achieve proper drainage, slope, and final grade elevations
- Execute site clearing, demolition, excavation, and backfill operations
- Coordinate with site supervisors and grade checkers to maintain project specs
- Work safely around other trades, utilities, and the public
Equipment Knowledge
- Skid Steer Loader (all attachments)
- Track Excavator
- Mini Excavator
- Compaction Tools
Requirements
- Proven experience operating skid steers and excavators professionally
- Demonstrated ability to land grade accurately to specified elevations
- Ability to read site plans and grade stakes
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong understanding of site safety practices and OSHA standards
Pay: $22.00 - $34.00 per hour
