Job Title: Bartender
Location: Modern Hotel and Bar
Pay: $15 / hour + tips
About UsThe Modern is looking for a friendly, reliable, team-oriented bartender to join our staff. We are looking for someone with intermediate bartending skills, who can contribute positively to our team, keep the bar running smoothly, and make every guest feel welcome.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Provide friendly, professional, and attentive customer service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- Take guest orders, process payments, and handle cash responsibly
- Follow all alcohol service laws, safety standards, and company policies
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as needed
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Requirements
- Intermediate bartending skills and knowledge of spirits and classic cocktails
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Reliable and professional
- Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy shifts
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Anyone serving or selling alcohol for on-premises consumption in Boise must complete an alcohol server training program approved by the Boise Police Department
