Position Overview
TexasRenters Property Services is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and professional Home Cleaning & Property Services Technician to join our growing team. This role goes beyond traditional residential cleaning and offers the opportunity to develop valuable trade skills in property maintenance, pest control, inspections, and code compliance installations.

Primary ResponsibilitiesProfessional Home Cleaning
- Perform residential move-in, move-out, and occupied home cleanings
- Deep clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and common spaces
- Ensure homes meet company quality standards and leasing readiness requirements
- Document completed work with photos and inspection reports
Move-In & Move-Out Inspections
- Conduct detailed property inspections
- Identify cleanliness, maintenance, and safety concerns
- Document findings using company inspection software
- Report damages and deficiencies accurately
Pest Control Services (Training Provided)
- Assist with residential pest control treatments
- Learn proper pesticide application procedures and safety standards
- Participate in obtaining applicable certifications and licenses
- Educate residents on preventative pest control measures
Property Services & Code Compliance
- Assist with installation of required property code items
- Install smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, address numbers, door hardware, and other compliance-related items
- Perform minor repair and maintenance tasks as assigned
- Support property make-ready and turnover operations
QualificationsRequired
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in Texas weather
- Willingness to learn new trades and obtain certifications
Preferred
- Residential cleaning experience
- Property management or maintenance experience
- Pest control experience or applicator license
- Experience conducting inspections
- Basic handyman or maintenance skills
