Starting Pay: $17 per hour
Job Description:
We are Aceros America, group of Aceros Arequipa which is a Peruvian steel company leader in the production of steel, offering products and services of international quality for the Construction, Industry and Mining. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform general labor activities related to scrap metal processing and recycling operations.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, front-end loaders, skid steer loaders, mobile cranes and manlifts after receiving proper training.
- Assist with basic mechanical and electrical maintenance activities, inspections and equipment cleaning.
- Sort and separate recyclable materials such as aluminum, copper and stainless steel to maintain product quality standards.
- Load, unload, move and organize materials throughout the yard and production areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and complete required operational checklists.
- Support other operational activities and departments as assigned
